I hate that when queer people come out some straight person manages to make it about them. Saying stuff like they’ve known all along, or how you should’ve told them sooner because it wouldn’t have mattered, or how they think they had a right to know all along, or how they think you’ve lied to them about who you are, just because you’ve never told them before. My coming out is about me and I get to do it when I feel ready and only if I want to. So please kindly fuck off if you aren’t here to support me.
