Is any of my followers a student at the Université du Québec à Montréal ? I am trying to find a paper called “L’Amérique, terre d’utopie” by Gérard Bouchard and I think it is on the UQAM website but I cannot access it and I am guessing it is because I am not a student there. Can anyone who studies there see if they can access it, and if they can, could they send it to me? I am writing a paper on the same topic and don’t want to be guilty of accidental plagiarism!

Here is the first link that pops into Google when I type that title: http://www.er.uqam.ca/nobel/gricis/actes/utopie/bouchard.pdf

Thank you! I would appreciate it if you reblogged this even if you are not at UQAM, in case one of your followers is!

reading recommendation

hello! so recently I got back into reading and I would like some recommendations. I’d really love LGBT books, I like coming of age stories and humor as well as the slice of life kinda book. just so you can get a taste of what I like “I’ll give you the sun” and “Aristotle and Dante discover the universe” are pretty much my favorite books. I also like thrillers and crime. Not looking for anything too heavy as I hate overusing my last 2 braincells

THANKS

Hiiiiii classics tumblr and langblr (again)!

I need your help again, not for me this time !

One of my friend – a linguistics student – is doing a semantic study on the latin words “opus, opera, ops”, and she can’t find an article she desperately needs. It’s called
González-Vázquez C. 1996, «Opus, opera y labor en latín arcaico y
clásico. Estudio semántico», in Omaggio in onore G. Cevolani, Studi del
Liceo di Cento 12, pp. 187-236

We’re french and it’s unavailable in our country. The article seems to have been published in both Spain and Italy. Any Spanish/Italian languages nerd to help her out ? (or if you can find it in a way or another, that’d be good ofc!)

Thank you !!!! <3333
