“Can you believe these incredible quotes are from memes/video games and not classic lit ???”

*list of badass quotes, some clearly made for action stuff, who could never be in classic lit*

These are good quotes though, but yeah I can totally believe there’re not from classic books.

My experience comes from french lit, but I feel classic lit is hard to quote actually ? Because there’re not so much “big cool quotes”, there’re nice sentences, nice quotes but nothing badass. It’s always too long for that – which is good because you’re reading it. The quality of the book comes from big text, moments, impressions, succession of sentences (or very very long sentences, like Proust).

Think about why it’s illegal to hire a hit man.

All you’re really doing is speaking and giving someone money.

It’s legal to speak.

It’s legal to give someone money.

Even if they actually complete the job, you’re not the one who committed the murder.

So why is it illegal to hire a hit man?

Could it be because inciting violence is not protected under free speech?

And if that’s the case, why should free speech protect Nazis advocating genocide?

Never reblogged something harder in my life

Malfurion and Tyrande may be weird annoying vegans from next door that dont wash their hair, but Sylvanas and Nathanos are the weird freaks down the street that wear collars in public and they walk into starbucks midday and nathanos is wearing a spiked collar with “baby slut” on it and he pays for her 3 skim milk caramel frappucinos and her everything bagel that he politely asks them to heat up after she screams directly into his ear at him to tell them to heat it up
