Ok actually I’mma add something, as there are people confused in the tags about what this means. “Stud” (in the context of lesbianism) is a black identity identity akin to what butch would be considered. It’s a unique role and identity that originated from black lesbian communities (same as AG/aggressive(s) girls/stem/boi). There has been a problem with white lesbians in particular putting themselves in the stud tag and plastering their faces all other spaces/media made for STUDS (a specific group of GNC black lesbians). It’s really annoying and tiring because most of these white self pro claimed “studs” end up emulating masculine coded behaviour that is found in black (Specifically African American) culture, which literally makes y’all look like fools. Black identities and cultural mannerisms are not for your consumption or appropriation.

i just saw a fb post where a man was arguing with a woman about the best way to make macarons and he kept insisting that she was wrong, and then eventually he was like “I’ve never personally made macarons, but if you think about it what I’m saying makes sense, i’m simply stating the obvious. i’m sure there are plenty of youtube tutorials that would show you the same thing.” and the woman replied by linking him to her instagram business page and she makes fuckin macaron towers for parties for a living and i’ve been laughing about it for a solid 5 minutes.

I need you to understand that the items in its collection weren’t important just for our national history. The museum contained the richest library on anthropology in our country. It contained the most ancient human remains found in our part of the world. It contained Egyptian mummies, Mesopotamian relics – and unlike many European museums, some of our items were not stolen as a result of colonization, but given (as the throne of Dahomey, for example).
This isn’t a Brazilian tragedy, it’s a global tragedy. Responsibility lies with Brazil and its incompetence, its ignorance, its complete lack of interest or respect for all that is intellectual, cultural, historical, scientific, yes; but the magnitude of this crime is much larger than the effects on our nation.
