this is one of those things that, if preserved akin to a shakespearean text, would need at least 2 lines worth of annotations to let the reader know tf is happening
its honestly kind of sinister that any potential for serious environmentalist protest has been completely defanged by sources people look up to pushing the notion that climate change is caused by you, an individual, and not the 100 companies that are the source of 70% of emissions. we arent going to see activism at anywhere near the scale of decades past because the notion that climate change is the fault of individual consumers is so firmly entrenched in all discussions of it
currently in a lesbian bar packed with butches playing billiard and casually having a drink, and ive never felt like i truly belonged to a space more than this one. i feel like i found my family and who i want to be! most of them are middle-aged or even older and this is so… loving and peaceful and what i aspire to grow old like
i really feel like the baby dyke i am… like i can finally stop being The Responsible And Old Adult for a moment and just… exist as the 20 years old i am, protected by much older lesbians… idk the atmosphere is so… full of serene love somehow and i need that lmao. need to feel vulnerable and young sometimes because i AM vulnerable and young dammit!

Social media news outlets still pulling this nasty anti black shit wherein they choose a significantly more “brute” looking photo of the black women in a popular dispute/situation too rlly drive in the “innocence” femininity and purity and over all dainty-ness of the white women involved😑
Like this is so TIRED. They could of easily used a different photo of banks they do this with like all black women in the public eye like can y’all stop trying to drive the idea into the masses that black women are these in human savage animals we getting killed out here
What they say: “I just feel like LGBTQ stuff shouldn’t be shoved down our throats. Stop forcing it in every show and movie.”
What they mean: “No one’s actually forcing me to watch anything. I just don’t expect gay people in shows and movies unless it’s explicitly labeled “LGBTQ”. When gay people appear in something I’m watching outside of that description, it feels like I was tricked into seeing people that I (subconsciously or blatantly) ignore the existence of in real life, and the growing expectation to treat them as equals is actually what I feel is being forced down my throat.“
