Yes, this is real (link to tweet). Yes, Tucker Carlson is literally repeating Nazi propaganda that aided the genocide of the Romani during the Holocaust. Yes, I am furious. 

(Also, although there is a large population of Romani in Romania, they aren’t indigenous to Romania. They’re a diasporic group originally from northern India.)

Romani and Jewish have been screaming at the top of their lungs for years about neo-fascism in Europe, and Americans were totally aloof.

Then neo-fascism reared its head in America, but Roma and Jews were left out of the conversation in terms of people being impacted, because our oppression was “over.”

Now Tucker Carlson is on live TV using slurs and Nazi propaganda about Romani people, and I’m 90% most people on the left are just going to ignore it.

It’s fucking starting y’all. It’s happening again.

“twilight is super racist and bad” and “the reason adult white men hated twilight is bc they didnt like teenage girls having fun” are both true statements yes, as many posts have pointed out. however, these things are not… on equal levels of importance….. one of the most popular book series of the decade being filled with racism is a huge issue, while “men made fun of teen girls for liking this series” is about on par with “omg girls and their pumpkin spice lattes” complaints in terms of being an issue (meaning… its really not important at all)

i was telling my very cis and very straight therapist about how i stopped being attracted to my ex when he came out as a man bc im a lesbian and she said “yes, this is normal. attraction of the physical features makes only a part of attraction. you’re as attracted to your mind projection of the body as to the physical body in itself.” 

so yea. 

you dont have to have sex w trans ppl if youre not attracted to them obviously but,,,, if you do consider them their real gender you might be attracted to them according to specialists……………………………

I feel like nobody ever wants to talk about the ways pornography hurts and exploits trans women specifically because the Community of Esteemed Wokeologists have everyone convinced that being anti-porn (or even just saying anything bad about porn at all) is a terf thing. How fucked up is that!
