People that are like “people in other countries are too busy facing Real Womyn Oppresion to know what a transgender is” are so weird like there is so much to unpack with this that other people have discussed better than me but these people only discuss misogyny outside the West as a means to delegitimize transphobia but that’s also the only time they ever talk about this stuff and weirdly they still focus 90% of their activism into trying to over-theory why transgender people are evil. Like, “oh transgenders aren’t a real issue to the rest of the world because they’re busy dealing with the Real Oppression” like ok so why don’t you talk about the Real Oppression you’re referring to instead of spending hours online everyday complaining about transgender people
