Think about this in the context of performing feminity. So many women deny that they have been influenced to shave, wear makeup, wear heels, etc and claim they do it for themselves. But when you are receiving compliments and are getting treated better when you do those things, you are definitely being influenced.

They will teach us these principles and simultaneously deny that they apply to female socialisation 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️

it’s so clear the fauxminism that liberals subscribe to has brought nothing but setbacks. women really get angry when you suggest there’s a powerful force at work pushing them to perform this way. they refuse to believe they’ve succumbed to this kind of conditioning, as if they’re somehow immune to it all, and they will absolutely NOT hear any of it if you bring it up.

the sooner you accept how impressionable WE ALL ARE the sooner you can do something about it.

I think part of it is the extreme devotion to the illusion of individualism. So many people seem to think they are completely above the influence of  culture and society. That every single thing they do and think couldn’t possibly come from anywhere but inside themselves.
