Maybe it’s because my dad grew up Catholic and like every Catholic I’ve ever met has described being Catholic as this hotel-California-esque nightmare of trauma and intensity, but I really cannot imagine why a young person would willingly convert to Catholicism
God. Catholicism really just is the hotel California.
