white male horror writers r too focused on being edgy and subversive by brutalizing kids, women and people of color and thinking they should brownie points for torturing people on screen. like no shithead, your movie isn’t scary just because you write about taboo topics, it’s disgusting and it’s clear you didn’t take ur hand off your dick not once while writing the script.
