good side: i’ve gotten my toughest class to willingly do some spoken latin at the beginning of class

bad side: this is mostly because i taught them how to say “i want to die” and now they won’t stop saying it every time i ask them how they are in latin

It’s comforting to know that Latin students are universally snarky.

In fairness teaching high school Latin isn’t much different.

I think it’s Volo Morire but it’s been a while so im not sure if Morire has to be changed to something

you’re close! the word for “to die” is deponent so it has a passive form, so it would be “mori volo”
