Abusive parents
make you believe that they made you and therefore they decide what you are for,
but this isn’t true. Firstly, no human can decide what another human is for,
they can’t decide for someone else’s life. Secondly, they didn’t make who you
are. After initial birth, every breath you took was you. It takes more than
birth to make a person, and you did that, you kept walking around and eating
and learning and doing things with your own body, you made who you are, you
made it to this moment. Abusive parents act like they can take credit for
everything you did from the day one, but they can’t. You became a person all on
your own. If you had to deal with abusive parents entire time, you became a
person despite what they were doing to you, not because of them. They don’t get
a say in who you should be. They don’t get to decide your purpose, nor what you
deserve.
