Just today I stumble across a vintage map of Soviet Russia and it sent tingles down my spine. I don’t understand the digitalization of society and it’s obsession with making maps obsolete. They ARE NOT. Maps are NECESSARY, HISTORICAL, AND VITAL!!!!

Especially antique ones that are ripping at the edges. The ones that are made of fabric instead of paper. Preserve them. Cherish them.
