People acting like political ideology is some kind of immutable characteristic is weird as hell.

“Hey, I am a conservative, and I am a good person! Stop saying mean things about conservatives!” See, here is the funny thing – if you were a good person, you wouldn’t support a political ideology that is currently damning refugees to certain death around the world and locking up children at the border in the United States. This is literally basic human empathy.

So stop being a conservative and actually be a good person. Live out the values you purport to have. This is entirely up to you. If it is more offensive to you when I make fun of conservatives than when conservatives actually do all the horrible things they are currently doing – you aren’t a good person, and my ribbing is totally true.
