These are good quotes though, but yeah I can totally believe there’re not from classic books.
My experience comes from french lit, but I feel classic lit is hard to quote actually ? Because there’re not so much “big cool quotes”, there’re nice sentences, nice quotes but nothing badass. It’s always too long for that – which is good because you’re reading it. The quality of the book comes from big text, moments, impressions, succession of sentences (or very very long sentences, like Proust).
