Gods, it just occurred to me – humanity didn’t get to our place on the food chain like any other species on the planet and don’t occupy a place shared by any other species due to our extreme specialization with tools. Meaning we’re not so much on top of the food chain as existing in our own special little category and… guys, I think we basically hacked the food chain. Which means that the first system ever hacked by a human was actually the ecosystem.
